In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren.

All my IMM posts can be found here!

Quick & dirty, so there’s no links, sorry! I recorded this early this morning and let it upload as I went out. Only have time to write it up fast!

For Review:

The Painted Girls – Cathy Marie Buchanan (HarperCollins Canada)
A Bad Day for Voodoo – Jeff Strand (Sourcebooks)
Picture the Dead – Adele Griffin & Lisa Brown (Sourcebooks)
Sever (The Chemical Garden Trilogy, #3) – Lauren DeStefano (Simon & Schuster Canada)

Slated (Book 1) -  Teri Terry – from Gail @ Ticket to Anywhere

24 Days of Tea! from DAVIDsTEA – was going to link so you can buy your own, but I think it’s sold out, because it’s not on their site anymore! They do have other awesome holiday stuff, though!

Slated (Book 1)

  • Someone needs to mention this Tea Advent Calendar to me next year… I would like to try!

  • I got my Sourcebooks winnings and I can’t wait to read them! I am particularly looking forward to reading A Bad Day for Voodoo; I peeked at the first few pages and thought they were very funny.

And congrats on the A! Knew you could do it!

  • Caroline

Your dog is just adorable, so fluffy and huggable! Its safe to say I am pretty jealous of Sever, I love that series aswell. I actually just bought Slated off ebay so I am waiting for that to arrive, I have heard nothing but good things about it. Picture The Dead looks a beautiful book, I’m just going to head off and read up about it.

    Congrats on the A! ;-)

  • Good job on your paper! :-)

I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on Picture the Dead. I like your cover better than mine! I read a review copy last year (and added it to my library’s collection afterwards, but sadly it doesn’t seem to appeal to teens because I think it’s only checked out once or twice. Too bad, because it’s a good ghost story). I think I need to get to that Chemical Garden trilogy soon. Ack. So many books!!
