In which I ramble on about the first 8 chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I might be addicted to the webcam and iMovie on Shawn’s laptop. Good thing he’s easily distracted by video games!

You crack me the heck up!
Loved this! You totes need to keep doing vlog updates as you go.
Also Frank is more mocking birdish than Copernicus I think. Copernicus is more of a raven name I think…they are far more pretentious.

I believe I agree with your thoughts on bird names. I must procure a Raven and name him Copernicus now.
I haven’t read To Kill a Mockingbird since high school. It’s not about the rape of a woman though that does happen. It’s really about the kids mainly. Nope, Frank isn’t the name of the mockingbird and I can’t really remember how it ties in but I do know that it’s something that one of the characters says somwhere in the book.

By chapter ten both “mockingbird” and the “trial of a black man” have been mentioned. I have hopes for more information soon. heh.
cute!
OK, you MUST continue with your video diary of TKAM because you are CRACKING ME UP!
I am currently working on a post about my thoughts on TKAM – would you mind if I included your video (with kudos and a link to your blog of course) in my post because I just love it?!! Let me know!
Sooooooo curious to see what you think once you finish reading it! I definitely recommend the movie too! I haven’t read the book since 7th grade (which would be 1995?) and I know I’ve mentioned it before but I just might have to read it again.
