  • Dude, I love To Kill A Mockingbird. It’s one of the only ‘classics’ I’ve ever read, even though it’s not classic as such. (Or is it? It’s not like Austen, is what I think I mean).

Looking forward to your thoughts on Beautiful Malice. I’m planning to read that one next week. You had a great week eh? :D

    Cat Reply:

Yes, it’s a Classic. A US one anyhow. My husband read it in high school (Canadians we are) but I didn’t. I am 20 pages in and then started internetting because I was too hot to read. Will read more before bed!

  • You’re the cutest!
    LOVE your hair!
    Love the quick video!

    Cat Reply:

It was so not quick – it was JUST under 10 minutes with creative editing. ha!

My husband called me Felicia Day on Speed in this video. ;)

    Juju Reply:

Ok I didn’t know who Felicia Day was so I had to look it up but: OMG your hubby is right. You do talk like her. She’s hysterical too. I love it!

So do you watch her series the Guild? Is it good? Should I?

  • I approve of your vlogs. I TOTALLY get hocky sticks in the mail ALL THE TIME.Enjoy your books. And THESE ARE SPIRIT FINGERS :D

    Cat Reply:

Why the hell would you need more than one hockey stick? Do your bunnies have their own team?

OMG I KNEW IT!!! I heard the music in the background and I was trying to figure out why it sounded so freaking familiar! Heh! I hope you won’t get sick by Bulletproof and try to shot yourself with a bullet ;-)

P.S. To Kill a Mockingbird–loved that book. One of the few school required reads that was good

    <3 <3 <3 <3 your voice! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

P.P.S. I'm surprised (delightfully of course) that you said my name correct the first time xD I can't say that to many people lol

Darn you! Until you tweeted about that song I had never even heard of it and then in the next 24 hours I heard it 3 times! It followed me around and I had to buy it off iTunes!! Ha!

Er.. thanks for the voice comment? I feel like I sound like a boy!

I tried to get your name right! I was sure I’d heard someone (maybe Kristi) say it was that way once! Go, me!

  • Great mailbox! I got To Kill a Mockingbird this week too. Somehow I have never read it. My mailbox is here. Happy reading!

    Cat Reply:

I always felt like I must have been the only person in the world to have not read that book My admission on my blog has led to many comments making me feel a lot less alone!

  • You know, for as much of an avid reader that I am, I’ve never read “To Kill A Mockingbird”.

Into the Wild Nerd Yonder is one of my favorite reads and if you haven’t read it yet, you will thoroughly enjoy it. It made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to wake the whole house up!

  • Loved it! Will be back!

  • i’ve seen the owl keeper around a lot!! Enjoy!

  • Memoirs is amazing, it’s one of the first books I read when I was getting into YA, it got me hooked!

Also congrats on receiving Beautiful Malice, I’ve been leading up to reading it off my bookshelf.

  • HAHA Really kool Vlog Cat!
Which librairy are you going to? Mine was really crappy to =/

    Cat Reply:

    Brossard!

Of course the McGill Education faculty has a pretty good selection, I’m just too lazy to walk from my office up that stupid hill to get to their building and right now you can’t inter-library deliver when you want to check books out. If I get desperate I’ll walk it though!

    Tynga Reply:

I was using the three Montréal-Nord librairies and they fail. The more recent I was able to find were the original edition of Vampires Diairies from the 90s hahaha
They did order City of Bones (in french) when I suggested them to, but it took like 6 months?
So I gave up on the librairie system.
I haven’t tried the librairies in Rosemont since I moved, I’m guessing the St-Leonard one must’nt be too bad since they have a bigger english community

  • Great books you got this week. Hope you enjoy reading them all.
